  • The Shmateh — over-giving, self-erasing, quietly resentful

And somehow, things still:

  • escalate
  • shut down
  • repeat
  • or quietly deteriorate

That’s not because you’re bad at marriage.

It’s because marriage doesn’t break from lack of words — it breaks from lack of strength under pressure.
